TV Radio Confidential Show

October 7 2008

I will be talking about my Pete Duel biography with actress Kim Darby on "Talk Radio Confidential" hosted by Ed Robertson and Frankie Montiforte on October 7th.
10.30 pm EST. 7.30 pm PST.
My segment will be 60 minutes beginning at 11 p.m. EST.

A show dedicated to my Virginian book will follow in December.

Pete Duel: A Biography Large Print edition is now available for pre-order. Publication is scheduled for Winter 2008. A specific date for release has still to be announced.

I am currently compiling the revised Index for the Large Print edition.

The book will be the same as the current edition except for the increased page count of 364 pages due to the larger typeface.

"For those of you you who were fans of the programme, the book is an essential read but it also has a broader appeal for anyone interested in TV Westerns of that era.
...Green's information came primarily from interviews with Frank Price, executive producer for a number of seasons, and the actors James Drury, Gary Clarke, Roberta Shore, Randy Boone, Sara Lane and Pippa Scott, which provide personal stories and candid, often humorous insights."

Born in the historic cathedral town of Lincoln, England my family moved to Oldham, Lancashire when I was seven. It was in this industrial setting of cotton mills and rugged Pennine hills that I grew up.

Following three years at Oldham Art College I worked on numerous TV related "annuals" for UK publishers from 1977-1995 and expanded my skills into writing along the way. The Knight Features agency in London represented me for two syndicated features, "Showbiz Teaser" and "TV Cults", which I wrote and illustrated in the 1990s.

In 2002 I moved to rural Virginia with my American wife. In the past two years I have had two books accepted and published by McFarland & Co. I am currently working on new projects.
